For landscape photographers, its all about “golden hour”, the period before and during sunset and during and just after sunrise. The glory of Winter in the far North of Scotland is that “golden hour” lasts all day – the light really is that special. Image taken December 2018. The coast of Northeast Scotland is one of those places where, whichever direction you look, the view is just plain stunning. As a photographer this is great – Nature does all of the hard work for you!
